I saw quite a few of these winter cardinals projects posted so I thought it would be a good project to do with the third graders.
I have been trying to steer clear of too many painting projects because I do not have a sink in the room. My newest tactic has been using baby wipes so they can clean their hands off and their work space. However, this is starting to get costly . Does anyone have any good tips for cleanup with no sink? I've tried having a bucket of soapy water to clean of their hands but I found that this takes away too much time!

Welcome :)
Hello Art Bloggers!
I'll admit, I've been lurking around on this website soaking up as many different ideas I can for my projects. I'm a rookie first year art teacher for grades 1-3. I absolutely love it and I'm going to give posting projects on here a whirl. Here's just a few images of some of the projects I've done so far this year. (most of these projects were inspired from what I've seen on Artsonia)
Third Grade moonlight pumpkins!! These pumpkins were a hit with staff members in the hallway, this lesson is definitely a keeper for next year
First grade pizzas! This is the first project I did back in September with this grade level and they had so much fun with this.
That's it for now! We're working on underground railroad quilts in all of my classes I'll get some images of those for my next post!
