Hello Art Bloggers!
I'll admit, I've been lurking around on this website soaking up as many different ideas I can for my projects. I'm a rookie first year art teacher for grades 1-3. I absolutely love it and I'm going to give posting projects on here a whirl. Here's just a few images of some of the projects I've done so far this year. (most of these projects were inspired from what I've seen on Artsonia)
Third Grade moonlight pumpkins!! These pumpkins were a hit with staff members in the hallway, this lesson is definitely a keeper for next year
First grade pizzas! This is the first project I did back in September with this grade level and they had so much fun with this.
That's it for now! We're working on underground railroad quilts in all of my classes I'll get some images of those for my next post!

Congrats on your new blog and being a beginning art teacher. Since I'm at the other end of the line, it's fun seeing people just starting. In case you are wondering, I found your blog because I was leaving a comment at Mr. E and happened to click on your comment.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow - love the pizzas, especially the crust!
Thank you! Your blog is one of the first ones I found when I found out I was hired at the end of August. I only had a week to prepare myself for school, I was so relieved to find some blogs about classroom set up and organization!
